Welcome one and all. Unless you're, like, mean or something. In which case, you're welcome, too, provided you can dig down deep and find some civility.
Is it narcissistic to blog? Gosh, I hope not. I think I'm doing this primarily as therapy--the kind of d.i.y. therapy that doesn't require filling out insurance forms (or buying a new laptop after I've flung ol' Lappy across the room). Y'see, I'm a news- and politics-junkie, and while I'm generally one of the nicest, friendliest, live-and-let-live-iest folks you're likely to meet, there are a lot of things in the news that drive me batty. So I feel the need to vent.
If this be narcissism, make the most of it: I'm just gonna talk about my interests, for starters: politics, religion (especially Christianity), the military, current events, and guns will all probably figure to one degree or another (I may do introductory posts on each of these topics, just to give you an idea about whence I'm coming). My family and daily life will certainly make appearances.
